A NEW BREED OF SERVICE

Remember your first day in college, have you ever experienced being lost in a trance with nowhere to go to and no one to talk to? In UPLB, there are these people who make sure you won't.

Volunteerism. Pure volunteerism. This is what UPLB GABAY Volunteer Corps is all about. Believe it or not, there are still students who dedicate their time, skills and service without getting anything in return.

It has been a tradition that GABAY volunteers facilitate the Pre-College Orientations each year. These students sacrifice their summer getaways just to return to UPLB to hold these events. While in the first semester, GABAY also holds bloc meetings for freshman students to build friendship and camaraderie among coursemates for easier adjustment to the new life they are living in, college life. It isn't easy, and it never will be.. but GABAY sees to it that it will be a lot easier if they'll gain friends who they can rely on.
